The Rodriguez and Coppoth Families Need Your Help

The Fans Across America Charitable Foundation is preparing to help its first two families, and we need your help.

As we move into the holiday season, imagine what life would be like if one of these children was yours.

Leslie Rodriguez (9)
Referred to Fans Across America by our Charity Partner Phoenix Children's Hospital, Leslie Rodriguez is a lovely and intelligent nine-year-old girl who was diagnosed on September 6, 2007 with a brain tumor (Germinoma). To date, she has undergone surgery and two courses of chemotherapy. This week she starts two more courses of chemo and will then proceed to radiation treatment. Her prognosis is very good and the tumor has responded exceedingly well to therapy thus far. Leslie lives with her mother, Patricia, and an older sister and brother, and the family is struggling financially as a result of Leslie's illness.

Joshua Coppoth (9)
http://www.fansacrossamerica.org/pdf/Josh.jpgJoshua Coppoth is a nine-year-old boy who has Medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor. He was hospitalized and underwent surgery to remove the tumor along with radiation treatment. Joshua is now home and enduring chemotherapy treatment, which will last until May 2008. Unfortunately, Joshua is already showing significant side affects from the treatments, including irreversible hearing loss. His mother Diana has had to leave her job to ensure Joshua receives all the medical and rehabilitative treatment he needs to beat the Medulloblastoma; otherwise, it could take him well over a year to recover physically from the chemotherapy.

The Fans Across America Charitable Foundation is putting together financial assistance packages to help the Rodriguez and Coppoth families during this difficult time. But with your help we can do so much more.

Please consider sending us a gift card to a grocery store, restaurant or other retailer to help these families with some of the life expenses associated with the illness. You might also want to consider making a year-end tax-deductible contribution to Fans Across America so we can provide additional support to these families.
