Children Coping with Family Violence and living in Violent Homes statistically are prone to school dropout, teen pregnancy, being abused or being an abuser, runaways, substance abuse, sexual assaults, date rape violence at school and food addictions. Providing love, care and education for these children is the starting point for their success in a non violent upbringing.
“I escaped a 12 year relationship after being sexually abused for a month at gunpoint. I waited till he went out with friends and gathered up with my 5 kids and left with family and a friend. I recently found out I am pregnant again and was referred to Maria at FANS Across America by Winged Hope Domestic Violence Advocates. FANS was extremely helpful and very sympathetic. Maria really did everything to accommodate myself and my kids. I’ll forever be thankful.”

“We just arrived in Chandler and we are staying at My Sisters Place Shelter. I escaped a very abusive relationship and I had to leave almost everything behind of mine and my son and daughter. My Sisters Place arranged for me to go to FANS for assistance. FANS helped me out with a new fresh start with clothes, shoes, school supplies and many other things for me and my daughter and son. I really appreciate this help of generosity from FANS. I will always treasure this great and nice experience and hope your association can expand all over for people like me in need. God Bless“
